Home Sweet Home-Still can't walk though
Hello forum! Now that I am back in my own home(Yaa!!), not the skilled care facility (Yech!), I will be on the forum daily again.
Still can't walk on the broken tibia, or get out of the house w/o a big wheelchair van = no shooting. Sure is nice to be with my wife and crazy mutts Lexxa and Murphy.
Have another month and a half to go before the next specialist visit. The waiting to know if the dumb thing is healing drives me crazy. Of course not being able to burn some lead through a Smith & Wesson isn't helping relax me any either.
Two friends have been a huge help to my wife. They cut up our old couch and moved a bunch of furniture so the hospital bed, wheelchair and other gimp accoutrements fit in the living room. Also a local church group built the handicap ramp for cost of materials. God bless them! Good to know there are still good folks out there. The ramp is a huge help to my wife too, as she has a permanent foot disorder.
A big thanks to the brace of SWCA members who sent me reading material while I was trapped in skilled care!
Peace to all of you.
Bill

Glad to hear you back in your own house. Like the old saying "There's no place like home" you feel almost 100% better just being there. Now don't over do anything so you can heal proper. You can always dryfire to keep the finger in shape if that won't harm you.
Some more prayers for you coming your way for a speedy and complete recovery. And prayers for everyone that lent a helping hand.

No cast, no brace due to diabetic circulatory issues. Bad-I have to be very careful, Good- no itch or stink!
