Went to the range last night...
I feel better now!
My .270 deer rifle hit exactly where it should have on the first shot at 100m and I put 100 rnds through my Ruger MKII 5.5 Bull Barrel at the pistol range!

That would do me good...
I've been trying to get to the range for a good while now, but circumstances (read 'crazy family) has kept me away. Before my boy went back to school I tried to get him to go with me and to bring his friend but he had much more important things to do, not the least of which was to 'hang out'.

Went to the range today with a friend: his Hi Standard Field King hit right where we pointed it and made minute-of-bunny groups, his MAS 45 .22 shot dime sized groups, and my Hi Standard Supermatic outshot his Field King. Then we went home and drank wine; a happy day.

Friday 8/29/14 I hit the rifle range with 4 final test loads for the 22-250 from 55 to 70 gr along with a few 270 130/140gr loads and 4 new never used 150gr FMJ loads for the 1903A with military brass.
First three FMJ non crimped really sucked but the one crimped load put 4 @ .65" at 100 yards.
