A lot of us here grew up during the "Space Race" and had our eyes glued to the TV for launches and recoveries.

Here's a link from Grant Cunningham's website that shows some new high definition footage from a camera aimed at the rockets at launch.

Note: the rocket barely moves until you get to about 1:40 into the video. So from now on, I'm going to call my really, really tight crimps SATURN V crimps:D

Pretty amazing!! It almost looks like it's in slo-mo, but the caption states it's in real time. Good find!!!

that is a little confusing - I think its in slow -mo

it said:
The launch sequence lasted only 30 seconds (actual time), but when projected at normal speeds the resulting movie went 8 minutes

I like this stuff, always did. - I need to find some TANG
