It's in the Cards!
The Cardinals advance to the NLCS for the 4th straight year.

Being a season ticket holder of the Cardinal's Triple A Memphis Redbirds you just never know who you're going to meet or what's going to become of the prospects.
Cardinal's Caravan 2013. Had no idea the guy second from the right, #53 would wind up the big hero tonight.

BOY HOWDY!!!
It was making me nervous but they did it.
You know........winning a lot is kinda nice. We lived in Peoria IL for a while and the area was split between Cards/Cubs fans. I learned losing all the time makes people grumpy.

Apparently, "flyover" Missouri teams eliminate big market California teams. So long Dodgers and Angels. Go Cards.

A good series by the Cardinals. That team is always in contention it seems. Well, unless they are playing the Red Sox, but that's a different story.
Saint Louis seems to be a sports town, which I like.
They did a nice job taking apart the Dodgers. That 3 run home run had me cheering out here on the east coast.
I think a Royals - Cardinals series would be interesting, but the Fox network people would much prefer a Nationals - Orioles series for ratings purposes.
Would a Cardinals - Orioles series be labelled the "Battle of the Birds"? That's lame enough for Fox Sports, I think.

If the Reds (current parent club of our AAA team, the Louisville Bats) can't make it, I'm all for the Cardinals (former parent organization, when the Bats were the Redbirds) getting there.

I just read in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that Adams' ML career batting average against lefties is .046!
Adam Wainwright was in the Cardinals dugout and said "Kershaw is going to throw a curve and the big guy is going to crush it."
Big City said that as soon as it left Kershaw's hand he knew he had one to hit.
