MODEL 60-15 Canted Barrel
Purchased new 9/22/06

Decided to finally send it in and see what S&W would do to eliminate the problem.

Called S&W on 11/7/14 for shipping label.

Received label on 11/14/14.

Shipped to S&W via FedEx on 11/20/14. [Weekend]

Delivered to Springfield, MA on 11/24/14.

Received back from S&W on 12/9/14, barrel was replaced, no charge, under warranty. Canted barrel eliminated.

Before with barrel leaning left.

My experiences with S&W and Ruger customer service departments have been excellent. I like dealing with AMERICAN companies that make excellent products and if they are flawed, they treat their customers in a proper fashion...I wish more big corporations would do business that way...I sent in a S&W revolver last year that the previous owner had fouled up when he tried to install some aftermarket springs. S&W paid for the shipping, repaired the revolver and it even felt like a nice action job had been done...I got it back ten days after dropping it off at the local Fedex depot...The cost for all that?...$0...THAT is excellent customer service!

I have a 627 PC. I bought it on the net, and it arrived with a canted barrel. It wouldn't shoot worth a hoot.

I sent it to S&W for repair. The technician called me, and told me that it had been a S&W demo gun, and was stamped with a "U" meaning used, and that warranty would not normally apply.

He told me: this gun should never have gone out this way, and it will be fixed under warranty. It was repaired and returned to me no charge with a test target that had one ragged hole.
