Anyone still having bugs with
iOS 8? I never upgraded because of all the complaints I have seen & read about. Now iOS 8.1.2 is available, and I'm wondering how it's working for folks. Thanks!

I've been holding off also.
To those that upgraded, hurry up and fix all those bugs.

I had some glitches with it in my iPad Air. Nothing serious, but it would take time for email to load, or occasionally freeze for a second when typing. I waited through a couple of the updates, but when it was still an issue I followed advice on a Apple forum to erase all settings and data and then restore it from an iCloud back up. (Restoring via iTunes works, too, but I don't use iTunes.)
That worked like a charm. Sounds scary, erasing all data, at least to me, but the data and one's preferred settings all come back. No issues since then.

With Some companies a bad Software Rollout
usually means waiting Months for a fix
But with Apple Most Bugs Get Squashed pretty Quickly
if your holding off on "Bugs" in IOS 8
with 8.1.2 available
they are Old News and Ancient History
Had not problems especially as of late

307, go ahead and update. 8.1.2 works fine for me.

Works great on our iPhones 4s,5s,6 and iPad.
One of the nice features is how IOS8 works with Yosemite. I can access my iPhone and make/receive calls on my iMac.

Caliber? It's a Mac thing and you Windows users wouldn't understand.

Well guys, I fired up the old laptop today while I was watching the playoffs. Updated my PC. Then opened iTunes and had to update that too. After that I plugged in my phone, saved all my pics & vids to the PC, then backed up my phone to itunes(however that works).
After all of that, I updated my iPhone OS & restarted my phone. The end result? Not so good. I have already had to restart my phone twice just to make things work.
Had to turn off the predictive typing. That is some really annoying **** right there. As soon as you start typing, it puts three words in front of you. And the words change to new words with every letter you type!! Good thing I don't have epilepsy!! So anyways, I turned off a few "new features" that were total ****, and I'm left with one issue that I can't figure out how to fix.
Copy/paste. I use this function a lot, maybe more than normal folks.
I use photobucket as a host so I can post pics on the forums. No problem copying the IMG link, but I cannot for the life of me get the paste function to work properly. I hold my thumb on the screen where I want to paste the link, and the icon appears. But only for half a second, then it's gone. I find myself trying to tap the icon before its gone. For five to ten minutes. Of course there is cussing during all of this, and of course the wife is laughing while watching the show.
She has not updated her phone OS. I doubt she will after seeing this ****-show.
I should also mention, that all of these updates took about 3 hours to complete. (Sigh)

Right now, at this moment, I feel like following suit.
But I'm within city limits, and it's cold & windy outside. So maybe tomorrow...
