I dont know about you all but--cold weather makes me want to take more naps. Either that or its because im starting to get old too.Near 50 I guess makes one more tired?

Anyway,have a HAPPY NEW YEAR on me--im headed home to tak a nap so I can have energy to be up at the magical hour to say bye bye to 2014 and greet 2015.

I have discovered that naps are totally under rated. Since I've retired, I try to avail myself of one each day. Having reached the 72+ age, my night sleeping patterns are not what they use to be. When I was younger, I could sleep 8 to 10 hrs straight with no problem. Now, I find that sleeping 4 to 5 hours is the maximum I can do each night. A several hour nap in the afternoon sure does help.

Figure them naps are making up for all those long days when I was working. I feel refreshed after a good nap.

I like a two-hour nap. There isn't all that much to do in the wintertime, and it makes the days pass faster. That said, the twenty-minute power nap refreshes me more.

Just when I sleep.Ive been told I snore like a bear-but just for about 10 minutes or so-then im quiet the rest of the night.
