With all the recent talk about the auction thought y'all might be interested in hearing him. On Library of Congress site are two audio tapes that can be played from when he was interviewed in 1981 for an oral history project. He was 82 at the time and Lorraine can be heard adding her comments along. Kind of cool to hear him telling some of his stories instead of just reading them. Awesome. I remember in the 50's & 60's I read everything he wrote.

Excellent, thanks for sharing.
Funny how he refers to Chinese as "chinks", but he does say they were very honest people.
