It's a nasty rainy day.....
....and the next few days are predicted to be the same, this is just the kind of weather I like to sit in front of the tv for several days and watch a favored series of movies or tv show. I've been thinking about watching all the Lonesome Dove movies and this is the perfect opportunity. I have all five movies on ten DVDs so I'm gonna head south to the Rio Grande and see how Gus and Woodrow and the boys are doing.
Y'all have a good day.

Better still read the book. It's better than the original TV series and that was really good. Robert Duvall and Tommy Lee Jones caught Gus and Woodrow to a "T".

1985 Pulitzer Prize winner, and with good reason, too. An excellent read.

No rain down my way but about 50% cloudy./Its SUPPOSED to start pickig up on rain here tonight and tomorrow. By the time my hospital stay starts on Wed--should be nothing but rains and Thunderstorms. Im looking forward to watching it rain while lying in bed and in a cold room. Im NOT looking forward to leaving Shasta by herself.

Nice sunny here. A little humid buy not bad.
I'm one of those people who, if properly dressed, doesn't mind the weather no matter how hot or cold.

No rain at all here in far west Texas. Several days have been in the upper 90s, with not a cloud in the sky.. Tomorow is shaping up to be more of the same.

Yeah I got the series a few years ago. Couldn't put "em down till I finished. Will be starting on Texas Rising in a couple weeks, gotta finish Blue Mars first.

Ive been rereading many books too. I started off with Tigers in the Mud, The Blond Knight of Germany, The Battle of Kursk, The Brandenburg Commandoes, In Deadly Combat and just started: The Last Knight of Flanders. For my hospital stay, ill probably take one of my books on Stalingrad. Either: Stalingrad Cauldron of fire or: Island of Fire.

"Rise and Fall of the Third Reich" or "Inside the Third Reich" should occupy you for awhile.
Shelby Foote's "The Civil War" is also an excellent read. ~3000 pages in the 3 volumes.
