All S&WCA members and S&W Enthusiasts (non-members) welcome. As are accurized or fine target pistols & revolvers enthusiasts. Look for me there. Bring your nicest S&W and / or target gun to show off.
For the show this Sunday I will be based at member-elect Al Jasaitis' tables. Show me your old S&W's for a free appraisals (one gun per person only) to anyone mentioning they saw this post in "the Forum". I am Life Member of the S&W Collectors Assn and Licensed by the Florida Department of Professional Regulation as Auction house owner.
Al Jasaitis is a good friend, collector, FFL dealer and just an all round good guy. He owns "The Gun Collection" in Pompano Beach, FL.
A few south Florida S&WCA members, inspired by Mike Borkovic, have been trying to organize a South Florida Chapter meeting once a month.
Tentative Schedule is the 2nd Sunday of every month, starting on July 12, 2015. Followed by August 8th, September 13th, October 11th, November 8th and December 13th, 2015.
This is our first attempt to organize a meeting of S.FL S&WCA members.
Sunday, July 12, 2015 at the Oakland Park #222 American Legion gun show who have hosted us a meeting place. It is unsure if we will have a room to ourselves but that is the objective we are working towards.
Once we have a regular turn out, perhaps we can organize a bank of tables for the S&WCA members should members decide to display, sell or trade.
Bring one of your favorite S&W's for a "show and tell" and / or one of your favorite bullseye guns.
Time will be from 10AM to 3PM at: $5.00 at the door to get in and good food available. It is a small, local, friendly show so please dress and conduct yourself accordingly.
In case of a snafu find member-elect, Al Jasaitis, who will have tables at this show and has supported us with the VFW.
