New product you all should know about!
Gun Shows yield some surprising discoveries now and then. Today was such an occassion.
I went to a gun show to help a friend and his wife pick out a handgun for her to CC. She had her mind set on a revolver because she doesn't have the strength to rack the slide on a semi-auto (her words, not mine). We looked at several, including some semi's because she likes them but, as suspected - she couldn't rack the slide. She decided on a Smith & Wesson 640-3, but before purchasing we wanted to "shop the price.
As we went down a different aisle there was vendor called Holland Tactical Solutions, selling what he calls the "RIP GRIP'. It's a beautifully simple product designed to make racking the slide easier. He had the product displayed on a Glock 17 & 19, and Shield 9mm, though it's available for many others. It is cut by laser to fit between the serations on the slide, and wrap over the top. My friends wife picked up the Shield and racked that slide without any problem whatsoever. She had tried racking the same gun earlier at a dealers table, without any success.
I bought one for my wifes Glock 42 and one for my Shield 9mm (see pictures). Though I had no trouble with my slide I have to admit... it's even easier now, and should my wife ever have occassion to need my gun it will be easier for her!

CZ75 was not listed on their website so sent them an e-mail asking. Their reply was that it would be on one of their next production runs and they would let me know when it is ready. Awesome !!!

Tell her to grip the frame, grab the slide and then while holding the slide firmly, push the grip forward.
This is how we teach diminutive folks to work the slide.
You'll be amazed.
She will be able to rack any pistol this way.
