Default Treat

Had a real treat yesterday. Went to visit my daughter and grandson (9 months today) and she was eating a sando. Asked what kind and she said frijoles and avocado. Yikes, I almost ran away.

She said take a bite. I did. Yummy!!!!!!!

Frijoles, avocado on a fresh bolillo. awesome. Great lunch. I do love that girl

Thank you folks. 72 today and as a birthday gift to myself, decided not to have any more birthdays.

Good gift.....

Frijoles = beans/ Avocado is a fruit, bolillo is a tasty bread roll. You probably have to be from the Southwest to know all this (unless you are of Mexican ancestry, that is.)

And since all of the REAL Mexican restaurants opened up, to me this is good eating.

Nothing better than a good torta. Prefer a bit of carne and some queso cojita on mine, but just beans and bread works in a pinch.
