Wife's birthday present
That is on 8/15.
So, I got her what she wanted and put it in a book...
1937 Mauser Luger with all matching numbers, S/42
BTW, that's mink fur....
Goes with the last one I got for her, S&W 1937 45 ACP.
Now she wants to shoot it....

I know from experience, that girls love to shoot 1917's. As for the fur lining, I bought a box of furs and trimmings from alterations back in 75 or 76. It had a 6" wide strip of Beaver from the bottom of a coat. That stuff was so luxurious. Never let a woman come in contact with it unless you can pony up the goods! Ivan

Happy Birthday to her! I like her Luger. Unusual idea with the fur-lined book. Be sure to keep an eye on the finish until you're sure it's safe.

You think that's bad?
She had me buy this one for her 5 or 6 years ago.
She's got this thing for WW II handguns.
Never shot this one.

Now that's a present that I would like to get from my wife even with the book.
Tell he from the forum.

Me too, if I bought my wife a gun she would use it on me for getting it for her - if she could figure out how.
