Yes me too.
The wife and i went for Greek on Saturday and
then on Sunday we had Mexican as well.
Turkey's good the first 8-9 times you eat it
then it gets kinda' old.
Hahaha

You guys are making me hungry!
I'm going into the kit and making me a Chicken Quesadilla.
I buy the cooked shredded chicken so I can pull it and go head on into Quesadillas, tacos, burritos, etc.

I didn't eat any turkey this year, yet.
It's BBQ season now. I grilled some chicken.
Maybe Christmas.

Finished off a drumstick and the wings for a midday snack.
Turkey is gone, really not that much leftover.
Hey DG, haven't grilled in over a week with that near gale in my face.
Would not have tried that with a welder's apron!

We're down to the last few slices of white meat for sandwiches, and a small container of turkey salad I whipped up on Sunday. And we didn't have to eat a "second Thanksgiving" meal, or make turkey soup or any of the other creative "get rid of the leftover turkey" entrees to use it up.
Having two teenaged boys occasionally has at least a little bit of an upside.

I just take the cold slices with salt and pepper on a plate and snack while watching TV with the Cat.

I am on just my second night of turkey soup, but I suspect it will be the last. In any event, the only reason we had leftover turkey is that all the connoisseurs went for the porketta first.

I used to work with a guy like that. He'd hit the "after-Thanksgiving" sales, for the 29 cents a pound turkeys. Buy six or eight of 'em, stick 'em in the deep freeze, and eat turkey most of the year.

After Thanksgiving I always immediately take HALF of the leftover turkey and put it in my hillbilly vacuum sealer. (A heavy duty ziplock, which I suck all of the air out of with a straw ). Put it in the freezer for a month. That way we don't OD on leftover turkey.

Nope
It's just the wife and me. We decided no bird. Steak, baked potato, steamed broccoli.

I made a turkey salad for lunch tomorrow. I wanted to throw it out but deep fried turkey is the best, even a week later. Joe
