Goes way back, 40+years.
Word of mouth is a huge marketing tool, and always marketed myself as a gun buyer to friends, work associates, acquaintances, and as one of character.
Many times, one of these people would put me in contact with a friend or relative who knows little or nothing about how to sell firearms, but has the desire, and are typically not young.
They are looking for dispensable income, or more common,
looking to liquidate to take the burden off a spouse or family member that knows nothing, or cares about firearms or what to do with them.
What I have conveyed to the people that have put me in contact with these sellers, is that I take "all or nothing".
These people have a problem, it's not "what" they have, but how many they have.
If I simply "cherry pick" them and leave anything behind,
they still have the same problem they had before they met me.....They still have the same problem they had before I showed up, firearms, and related, they don't know what to do with.
I don't leave them that way.
I'm not there to steal or cheat
and explain what everything is, from firearms to ammo to leather, and offer a fair price, for everything.
If we come to an agreement, their entire problem walks out the door with me.
Is the burden on me at the end of the day to dispose of the "junk" that I took off their hands ( but at the same time, there have been some gems ) yeah......but I sleep well at night.
