Looking for a Mattress Holster
I am looking for a mattress holster, you know the thing that slips between the mattress and foundation that holds the gun in a holster next to the mattress. I have one now and really like it but I want one that will hold a tactical flashlight also. I feel I need the light more often than the weapon. I don't want a hard holster, like kydex, because I change the gun from time to time. Anyone have any suggestions?

I keep a flashlight on the nightstand beside the bed, my wife has one on her side also, you never know when you might loose power in the middle of the night.

I have decided to make one myself. My plan is to use mild steel 1/4" round stock from the local hardware store, and bend it into the appropriate shape. I haven't decided what I'll coat it with.
I'll design it to fit my XD40 with its TLR1s attached, and also will work with my revolvers. Shouldn't be too big of a project. Maybe I'll make one for each side of the mattress...
Here's a internet pic of a regular stand that gave me the idea.

The NRA store offers one but it does not hold a flashlight.

You could coat it with liquid vinyl used for dipping plier handles in.

Search Amazonsmile they have several different type. With flashlight and with and without magazine (or for those uninformed clip) holder or maybe you have a M1 Grand or want to put stripper clips in it.
