Default So very wrong, so wrong, but funny.

Yes, I should be ashamed for busting out laughing, but I couldn't help it.
There has been a dead cat in the road for a few days now, couple of miles from where I live. This morning on my way to town saw someone had put it on the side of the road and there was a pile of rocks with a shiny balloon floating just above it. Thats odd I thought.
On the way back from town I saw there was a cardboard sign leaning against the rocks "FREE CAT" was written on the cardboard.
(I do like cats, not as much as dogs, but I do like them).

Somebody in your area has a sick sense of humor alright.
I would have likely laughed also....followed by muttering to myself how messed up that is.

I just hope the unfortunate cat's owner doesn't see that.

While not funny if I would have actually seen it, your description and the story made me LOL.

Last year we came upon a vehicle struck buck with a helium Happy Birthday balloon tied to an antler.

I have seen a dead deer with a get well balloon tied to it. After a few days in the sun and a hundred car tracks upon them they become sail cats. We used to sail them at each other as kids. Man we needed a tv or something.

Ya thats me. I was sad when I first saw it. Hate to see any animal killed like that.

Uh.... we don't have any specific rule against a dead cat thread but I think we can probably get along without it.
