I have eaten Tacos for a while now.
The only one that I didn't like was that tongue taco I got one time in the Barrio, S San Antonio.
You would think that a guy who knows 10 words of Spanish and 15 words of Latin would know Lengua is tongue.
So for a change of pace, I got some Mission Multigrain Tortillas.
I fry them in canola, sort of hard but still pliable.
I filled with cooked frozen chicken, warmed in microwave.
Add lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese and salsa.
It's s done deal!

The last time I are at Taco Bell I got food poisoning. But there cheeseburger bacon burrito was to die for.

Gag me with a spoon.

I read that TB 'meat' is 20% real meat. Don't know myself.

A local real Mexican restaurant, has the best fish tacos on the planet. Finely chopped onion and cilantro. Yummy! The seasoning they use on the fish while cooking, you don't or want any sauce. Served on Your choice of flour or corn soft tortilla. Now I'm hungry!

We have a place here called Fuzzy's Tacos. Best tacos I have ever tasted, and they make them with any ingredient you want, but the star of the show as far as I'm concerned is their burritos, they are awesome. Because of the name it took me a long time to ever go there, glad I did now though. I think their a chain.

occasionally monster tacos from jack-in-the-box

I thought about sending em a pic of this one..

I love Mexican food and for that reason vowed to never set foot in a Taco Bell Again. Their "food" IMO isn't fit for human consumption! I ended up tossing it the last, and I mean last, two times I was there.

Sometimes I make a queso fundido, based on a Rick Bayless recipe: monterrey jack cheese, Mexican type chorizo sausage, roasted poblano peppers, and a little onion. Bake until the cheese is melted, and put into a soft corn tortilla.
