According the the linked article, 78% of US adults don't own any firearms, while just 3% own 50% of firearms (avg 17 guns each).

Anybody else think those numbers are waayy wrong? They're saying that about 1 in 5 adult Americans own firearms?

To me the first problem with these surveys is that most gun owners are not going to tell some stranger about any guns they own.

I'd bet a lot of 3 percenters hang out here....
