Fill up the gas jugs and your car
Well the news is on a non-stop coverage of the Colonial pipeline again. Blew up about 3-4 hours ago. 4 workers are being treated at UAB Hosp. Was close to where the leak was it looks like.

Dang! It's in the same county, Shelby County, Ala., as the pipeline break last month. All of us in the southeast can hit the replay button for this gas shortage.
Hope the workers are OK.

THe problems is that the pipelines that cris-cross the country are old and not maintained so expect more breaks, more gas shortages, fowled rivers lakes and streams. the breaks are just the cost of doing business. I may wrong but many pipelines are owned may a Canadian company. OK off the soap box.

Glad I have some full gas cans from the last scare.
Who ever thought that "Be Prepared" would become a motto to really live by.
I know we should be ready but it seems like everything these days is almost a disaster.

I went ahead and filled up my truck and car at $1.99/gallon.
Always play it safe.

It will hit east of the Mississippi, and in the towns at the west ends of the river bridges, as folks will fill up before crossing, if the last event gives heed.
But I filled up last night to use my expiring grocery store points, so am at full regardless.

I keep eight five gallon cans filled up and rotate them for freshness. I also top off anything I have with a gas engine, including vehicles. Around here you never know.

How about not contributing to a panic in an already bad situation?

I don't depend on that pipeline. I guess, we will have to keep more oil here.:-)

Let'em drive the price back to $125/bbl. It'd do our (Texas') economy a world of good!
