Possibly World Record Deer Shot Here In Middle Tennessee
Possibly the World Record Deer was shot this past week with a Muzzle Loader here in Middle Tennessee. It was 47 points. It's a giant and crazy looking rack! So congratulations to the Hunter, of a once in life time hunt.

Wow! Unfortunately deer around here seldom get that size. I would love to have the opportunity to hunt some big deer!

I would have shot at it in a micro-second.....but, I would be shaking so hard, seeing one that size, I would probably miss it by a mile.

Hmm:
This one sorta denies the old adage that the farther North you go the bigger the deer get.
It's been awhile but I believe the record typical Whitetail was shot in one of the far Northern States. I do remember that the buck this one displaced after many years had been shot in Wisconsin.

I think the typical record whitetail is still the "Hanson Buck" from Saskatchewan, Canada & the non-typical was found dead somewhere in Missouri IRCC.

I wonder if that deer was grazing around Oak Ridge. That might explain the weird rack.
