Turkey day
Lots a stuff to do before we lite out Wednesday Morning. We'll be hittin' the dusty trail to Texomaland to be with Miss Pams folks. I hear there is a turkey up there that's been talkin' bad about me and I gotta go sort him out. May take the lap top and may not, Haven't decided yet. Y'all be safe and enjoy Turkey day.
Y'all keep yer powder dry. See ya when we get back.

No one in this house cares much for turkey so "It's Prime Rib For Everybody" along with baked Asian sweet potatoes from Whole Foods and batter dipped organic zucchini.
The fridge is well stocked with a variety of excellent Texas craft beers.

I just hope where I am going they will serve porketta. And a nice carbonara. Beef Wellington would be a second choice.
Turkey is okay for turkey soup, or turkey risotto, but as a main course, I don't particularly care for it.

Thanks Rusty. I called my sister in law last night and explained the situation. She said she'd soften him up for me.

Some bad news for ya there Joe....you lost a fin. That was the biggest turkey I ever shared a place at the table with, 25 lbs +. You might just have won your bet if I hadn't had 17 other people to help me out.
All the trimmin's, 3 kinds of pie and I had to have some of each, and coffee and brownies just before going to bed. I laid awake for a couple of hours feeling like 10 lbs of taters in a 5 lb bag. I'uz FULL I'm sayin'.
We'll be doin' the left over thing for dinner and I expect I'll do the same durn thing again tonight. Fortunately I brought a good book to read while I'm waitin' for the swellin' to go down.
Watched football until my eyes changed sockets. Have had enough of that to last me till the Superbowl I recon.
Should be back late Monday or maybe Tuesday. Till then....
