A gaggle of geese at Holla Bend
I caught sight of this gaggle of geese lifting off from an oxbow lake off the Arkansas River at Holla Bend in Pope County, Arkansas. The lighting was just about right for a decent picture.

If they'd been coming right at you they'd have been a waterfowler's dream...

Great picture. Whenever I see Canadian geese that close to the ground I find a viewing position and usually watch them until they land or fly away.

Why are they always in range when you don't have a gun.

Right click in pic-"save as" type a name-hit save then go in your saved file and bring pic up-there should be a "set as screen saver selection. Good choice!
