SAFireman became a dad this morning!
I guess that makes me a grandpa for the first time. I guess we'll be needing to get the boy his first S&W pretty quickly. I figure we can't get him started too soon.

We have the cutest grey QH mare about 14.1 hands....she is the smallest in the herd at just shy of 1100lbs......the next closest is 16.2h and about 1300lb, then 17h and 1450lbs.
I have owned several ponies that we used while teaching, but most were borderline ornery and had to find other homes.

Well, since we are in Central-South Texas, it will likely be a S.D. Myres or A.W. Brill with some sort of Wolf & Klar gun.....it may be a while before he grows into an N frame rig, but I do know where there is a Baby Chief with a really neat Mryes rig that might could fill the spot until then
Thanks guys for all of the comments, this is our first human kid (lots of fur kids though)....so there will be a lot of 'firsts' for this one. His entire family has planned out his college enrollment already (same old Maroon and Burnt Orange tussle as almost every other Texas family).
And yeah, that Nickel Triple Lock with the four inch barrel and mother of pearl stocks with the gold Mexican Peso is still around, but that one will have to come around later in his life.....I still have not found the correct period holster for this one, but the search continues....until then, it lives in a David Keith special that was made for it.
