Lot of people still looking for it but so far no finders. Some say the gold he had came from the Vulture Gold Mine near Wickenburg. We may never know.

Ida Lupino - such a lovely lass.

The movie company had her bleach out her hair at first, trying the 'blond bombshell' approach with her. It didn't work out.

She looked much better natural. A very small, delicate looking woman. Love her movies, particularly from the late 30's into the 40's.

She went on to direct, and had a longer career behind the camera.

I believe Ida Lupino was the main director for Have Gun, will Travel.

Still love to see her in High Sierra with Bogiie.

As to the Lot Dutchman, I found it in 1967 and have been living high on the hog ever since. Ask me where it is and I'll have to kill you.

The Dutchman did find gold somewhere.
It wasn't necessarily a 'mine', it could have been cached gold mined by Jesuits or Mexican Miners.
