Met some very nice folks over the years as a member of this forum. Recently NRA Dave had a post regarding a beautiful registered Magnum he had. In my reply I said looking at it would probably be the closest that I'd ever get to shooting one. Since we both live in the same state Louisiana he kindly made the offer that if i was in Baton Rouge we'd go out and shoot that revolver. Sadly my traveling days are over except very close to the house. I had a CHL here ans stupidly let it expire. being I'm a veteran, over 70 and honorably discharged I could reapply after taking the mandatory classes and go for the lifetime license. But couldn't find anything in writing. Dave sent the link to the change in legislation regarding this. May not sound like much but helped me out when I needed it. Thanks NRA Dave. Frank

As everyone has said, this forum is made up of not only great and friendly people but the amount of knowledge here is second to none. I have yet to fail to learn something new when I spend time here. Thanks to all!

Stevens, nope no cane farmer. Although across the street all the cane you want. Moved down here from Long Island New York. Wife has family down here and we bought the house in '95. I came down in January '96. Love it down here. know how trees and grass look like in a New York winter?. Green all year around. Frank

I've been on other forums but this one has some of the best folks around. You can get advice on almost anything and quick responses as well. I hang out here every morning just to check in and see what's happening.

The Mods are really great as well and will keep you in line should you happen to break the rules. I've done so a few times early on in the forum but have learned my lesson. Read the rules and all will be well.

Yes a commercial in mid 70s I think. I have been on some of the Honda motorcycles forum . some good folks and some real not good as well. This one is well run and class act

I have made friends and visited with them in foreign countries as well as distant states. You can make as good of friends on the Forum as you can in your home town.
