New show I’ve never seen called “Trackdown”,stars Robert Culp as a Texas ranger, not a big fan of him as he really overacts at times, but am a fan of his choice of sidearm, good ole top break Smith&wesson .also watched an episode of “Wild Wild West”this past week and saw a snubby md 36 used, must be Smith week

Culp Trivia

I watched "Trackdown" when it first ran, in the late '50s. Culp's character was named Hoby Gilman. In his later series, "I Spy", Culp's character was named Kelly Robinson. However, his "I Spy" sidekick, played by Bill Cosby, would sometimes call Kelly "Hoby". An in-joke for sure.

Steve McQueen's Wanted Dead or Alive series was a spinoff from an episode of this show.

McQueen actually appeared in a couple of episodes of Trackdown, playing his Josh Randall character that he'd carry on into Wanted Dead or Alive.

I remember Trackdown well. No particular episode sticks in my mind, but I don't think I missed watching it too often.

That was a good show.

I wasn't a major fan of, I Spy. I detest Cosby.

I liked Culp in the movie, Bob and Carol and Ted and Alice.

That S&W Model 3 he carried in Trackdown was reportedly his own gun. I do like to find actors who actually like guns!
