I would love to see Vegas make to the finals. They sure put together a great team of non-stars. Besides, I have always liked Fleurey.

Got a bad feeling for the Knights for this game, hope I’m wrong, but here goes.
Let’s call it the “Massive Sportscaster’s Curse”.
NBCSN had a half hour special on the Knights fantastic season and how the team and the city came together after the horrible events prior to the start of the season.
The pregame show on NBC again sang the praises of the team, Fleury and other players. Now talking that they are only 11 games from the Cup.
It seems to me that every time some sportscaster says “they have never lost in this situation” or “this is where they excel” or other such sports blather, the exact opposite happens!
Just saying.

I think what is happening, everyone "TV, Radio, Writers, Fans" just can't believe this is actually happening.
The team is just likable and proving they have a strong desire to win, made up of a bunch of orphans.
They add a lot of excitement to theses playoffs as Toronto did last year.
GO KNIGHTS
2-0
CELL TICKS lead

I read because of the security concerns in Vegas, they brought in other Police Dept's to help out.

Boston certainly dominated that game. Where are all those "tired legs" comments now?

Vegas / SJ ... Great Game. I thought the goaltender interference call was correct, but I am not an expert on that. Both teams played well enough to win. I'm glad the series is even.
Edited to add:
The more I see that play, the more questionable I think the call is. Jones's stick extended well outside the crease. What was Marshessault supposed to do, skate around it? I'm starting to think Vegas got the shaft!

Since neither team plays in a town that has ice on the lakes in winter, I have a hard time mustering sympathy for either one. Still, it was a fun game to watch, and Vegas got screwed.

I think the tender interference call was weak. Looked like a good goal to me, but it is what it is. Lousy calls are fine as long as it is consistently lousy.
Going to be a good series.
Bruins were looking great! Just keep it up boys.
Weather is nice so I will go outside and play. Skipping the early game and watch the Jets - Pred live. Enjoy the show.

Still haven't recovered from that late game last night.
Financially I guess it is not a good thing for the NHL owners to see a 4 game series.
All that loss of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Hot Dogs, Beer, Tickets, Tourist spending around town, surely must add up.
They did get screwed.

I wouldn't count on a sweep but winning the first game away is a good boost for the B''s for sure. As long as that top line keeps doing its job the Bruins will be hard to beat. Then you throw in Nash doing what they brought him in to do and they will be a tough team to solve.

Caps / Pens:
I'm glad the Caps won, but neither team really distinguished themselves today. Several times in the third period I wondered "what are the Caps doing" or "what's wrong with them?" They would lackadaisically pass the puck around, cough it up, and show no real urgency in trying to get back on defense. Luckily, Pittsburgh had a real off day too. I hope they both get back to playing like they can or neither team will go far in the playoffs.

Bedtime. Nice play by Turris to keep the puck alive.

Caught up on the early game highlights. Pens & Caps both looked a little low on gas.
Solid game for Preds v. Jets...double OT nice! Big hits and fast paced. Looking forward to a very good series with these two.
