I watched another of the Coen Brothers classic gigglers last night; "Oh Brother Where Art Thou":D:D

This scene of two boys carrying ice ( the sign reads "Satartia 7 miles".) is hilarious and typical Coen Brothers humor and wit.:p

Them's SIRENES!

I think my favorite part was:

"I don't want no FOP! I'm a Dapper Dan man!"

Cohen brothers movies are a real gas. Fargo is my favorite...... "You don't have that Trucote you're gonna get corrosion." and "Yah, you betcha!"

'Raising Arizona' is one continuous chuckle from start to finish... "TURN TO THE RAGHT!"

'Blood Simple' was a good early effort with a young and attractive Frances McDormand. It set the stage for really their really offbeat movies.

Gotta mention...."The Big Lebowski". There, I mentioned it.

One of my all time favorites. Full of outstanding quotes, these are just a few that have made it into my everyday lexicon:

"Gopher Everett?"

"Well ain't this place a geographical oddity....two weeks from everywhere"

"R-U-N-N-O-F-T"

"Thank you for the conversational hiatus. I generally refrain from speech durin' gustation. I find it course and vulgar. Where were we?"

"Thank you boys for throwin' in that fricassee. I'm a man of large appetite, and even with lunch under my belt, I was feelin' a mite peckish."

Love that movie!
Have seen it several times, my hometown is mentioned.
Going with Bona Fide. Love that sequence.
Who’s the lady playing the guitar?

Looks like Sharon White, wife of Ricky Skaggs. She, her sister Cheryl, and father Buck are also featured in the movie. Here's a clip from the movie where the Whites are singing.

One of my all time favorites. I had one friend that didn't care for it. When I asked him why he replied "It reminded me too much of my relatives".

Listen closely to the lyrics in the KKK chant at the rally. You'll split a gut !:D:D:D

I attempted to watch that movie some time ago. Indeed a poor one; nothing funny, but a lot that's silly. The quality is pretty typical of George Clooney movies in general.
