What's wrong with people!? If the bear had even touched the guy, it would have been euthanized and it would have been from the stupid actions of the person.

Bears are more tame in the Cover... but the guy was lucky.. this time!

Moose story, not bear, but keeping with the theme of “you can’t fix stupid” and “what’s wrong with these people,”

My family and I were watching a female moose with a couple calves that were a ways off the road along a creek in CO. A woman pulls up in a car full of pre-teen kids. She and her kids jump out of the car. The woman tells the kids “go stand next to the moose so I can take your picture.” The kids go running through the field towards the moose.

Similar to the video in the OP, the moose were smarter than the humans and quickly wandered off. Sometimes ya gotta wonder about people.

The last time I was at Yellowstone, there was a Japanese man lining up his wife and kids next to a buffalo baby to get "THE picture." Lucky the mother wasn't around as I'm sure there would have been a hospital visit in their future!

The only thing most people know about animals is what they see on TV.
Idiots like Steve Irwin lead people to believe that wildlife are harmless and anyone can get close to them and even touch them.

Well that’s a bunch of horse manure. Steve Irwin had Nothing to do with peoples utter stupidity. They managed that All on their own.
Using that analogy an entire generation of people were made stupid by Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom.

It's a real chore trying to find words to describe this person and his actions. And folks think the animals should be in zoos. Damn tourists are a blight on the natural world sometimes.

Lewis & Clark were asking one of the indian tribes they met their names for different animals in the area. Bears were just bears (Grizzlys), deer were just deer and so on till they asked the name for Moose. "Man Killer" was the reply.

Suprised them (me also), that none of the top predators got that title.

Just another example of Mother Nature stepping in and covering for another idiot that doesn't have the sense God gave a goose.
