A gun cabinet controlled by Alexa...
Don't know if the man in video made the dresser or just figured out how to have Alexa control it.
YouTube
The link does work but you can also go to Youtube directly and search for
"Alexa controlled gun cabinet".

Cute.
This can be done at various levels of sophistication, most simply by running the power for each drawer actuator through an Alexa-compatible smart switch. You can then program it to have Alexa activate it on any command you want.
Mostly a gimmick, though. Better make sure there is a manual override for fast access or if the wifi isn’t working properly. I use Alexa mostly to control lights, music and some other non-critical switches, and would estimate a failure rate of proper response somewhere around 5-10%, where you have to repeat commands or Alexa tells you “X isn’t responding right now. Check its connections etc. ...”.

I'd never let Alexa in my house, much less have anything to do with my guns.

I can see it now. During a "National Crisis" the Gov't. disables access to all of the computer controlled gun cabinets!

Ain't no muskets in that collection.
