Latest "sold-out" item!
My lady and I have been talking about putting together jigsaw puzzles since Monday.
Yesterday she read a news item that said they're out around the Republic.
Libraries are closed, and I finished reading my last book yesterday.
Now what?

You can download the Kindle app to most any platform and read books on a computer or phone.

Amazon has plenty of doll house kits. Your wife might like one of those.

There are lots of websites that have free books
Gutenberg and www.read.gov
are 2.
F course they're older but there's still hundreds of good reads.
Google free books.

There are websites that will make a jigsaw puzzle out of any photo you want to upload to their sites.

Great ideas, folks. Thank you all.
I have an extensive library, includng an impressive collection of all sorts of dictionaries. I simply like the library for the availability. I like new non-fiction stuff by "right" minded populist authors. My library can bring in books from any U.S. library, and I love service.
Yes, I have to have a book in my hands (have tried the electronic versions, and can't warm up to them).
My lady likes the same books I do; don't believe doll houses would work.
Having our own puzzles made is a very cool idea!

I assume you’re not having too much problem with social distancing out there at Atlantic City?

Fixin' to crack open the last 5000 pcs. of primed 45 acp brass left from Y2K.
Then I'm gonna start on all the varmint calibers....Prairie dog time coming up one of these days.
Did I say I liked to handload.

I’m running out of empty brass! Loaded all I have in a dozen or so different calibers. I do have a thousand new 308 Win cases coming in a couple of days, though. That should help for a while. 😎

So far I built a real nice little chicken coop and cage. Now I am using the material from my old deck that I took out to do addition to build another deck outside the addition, Oh, yea trimmed and cleaned up the shrubs that surround my property. Still need to rototill the garden spot and fix up the deer proof fence around it. Once I get through the Honey Dos I can start on gun and knife projects.

Long as you have good music in background. But no TV!

No problem.
60+ mph wind and the latest foot of snow didn't hurt.
They tell me It's spring somewhere.

I'm sorry. I don't understand the concept of being"out of books". I have books that I first read 30+ years ago. When I get tired of reading from "the new stack" I head for the basement and pick a book from the "old favorites pile" and I am good to go. Just finished "The Virginian" again and am starting on "Moby Dick" Haven't read it since High School and then it was written on stone tablets. I like real books too. But when you don't have a choice you do what you have to do. (this from my younger brother who lives in Mexico where his choice of English books is somewhat limited) He has embraced kindle and such, not by choice but by desperation.

I understand, GB.
I have a first edition "The Virginian" and a 50th anniversary issue - my birth year.
In this politically charged time I've been gorging myself on current events.
When the "fake news" got unbearable I opened a Twitter account and now I subscribe to President Trump's every message. It's been great to read the story from the horse's mouth. I also subscribed to "1600 Daily," the White House's news brief. Good reads, both!
I don't have a tv so I read. Staying informed, especially during this election year, is a big deal.
Old documents I reread last month include the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, Lincoln's two inaugural addressses and his Gettysburg address. Great refreshers about our Great republic!
