FIRST MC RIDE OF THE SEASON
Over the last 3 days I was busy tuning, changing all fluids and Detailing my Motorcycle. Today it was absolutely spectacular outside so I called a few friends and we rode for a few hours. Wound up at the Beach for a few hours (keeping our social distance of course) and this was my first ride on the Bike for the season. What a great day - it felt so good to get off the property!

The weather has been about perfect . I've been riding several times in the last month or so. Lots of farm and county paved roads N W of Ft Worth. I have about 5 bikes that I have to keep happy. I try to do 100-150 miles in an afternoon. At 73 I'm not wasting any riding time.

Just found this motorcycle thread, lovely...
Fortunately here in Arizona I've been ridging mine all winter but the weather this last week has been spectacular, so took a ride over the mountain.
Cheerio,
Roy

Got 250-300 on mine this year. Would be more but for the rain & wind. Back in the shed but out soon.

I did 105 miles yesterday. Planning to do same today.
I prefer winter riding. I can dress for the cold, though some days are too cold. Over 85 degrees is just too hot. ATGATT.

We've had flawless riding weather almost everyday since February.
Around the end of this month we'll start getting some rain.

Great riding weather in SW Colorado recently. You'll notice social distancing, gloves, and mask.

The weather has been kinda spotty here in IL so far, but we've had the Electra Glide out about a dozen times already. Since we've been holed up at home and not traveling (cancelled three trips since March) it's provided an element of relief. We always see a number of bikes out so we're not alone in that pursuit.

Always been a Triumph fan...kinda wish I still had mine. At least I sold it to a friend so I have visitation rights.

Detailing! Here you go:
By the way, I was told this week “dad I need a Cafe Racer. I will take feed, water and take care if it all by myself!” Dirt bikes are simply a gateway drug.

That would be at least 90% of the people on the road.

Pretend you are invisible.
Seriously. Kept me safe for 50 years. The guy who turns left in front of you just doesn't see you.

Riding
sold my last bike in the early 80s . seemed like someone in a four wheel or more vehicle was trying to kill me every time I rode . I had a new son that i wanted to get to know someday and gave up . sold my 1980 Suzuki 1100 and have missed it ever since . I get the itch quite often that I satisfy, somewhat, with my boat . never feel like I was gonna get killed in it . cop out I guess because I do yearn for another . kenny . MT USA
