Who Is Planning on a Good 2021
Time to look ahead, only positive waves need expression.
January- planning to go see my 1 st grandson born a couple weeks ago. Maybe airlines/COVID/.gov will smile on my plan.
February- "Mailbox money" (SS and pension) start paying out. I'd quit working then but insurance company says I got to replace my 15 y/o "architectural" roof that's supposed to go 35 years. $22K was last estimate.
May-School's out for Summer, 9 weeks to cut the grass/daytime TV.
September 1- Last day of work (I swear, this time I mean it)
October >
November >>Mailbox money/ shooting/fishing.
December>
Hopefully good health is in His plan but winning the lottery could still make it better. Happy new year. Joe

I just keep matriculating down the field. They’re all good days, or good years. It’s not what it throws at you, it’s what you do with it . . .

We'll see, but the plan is...
- Retire, again, 1 July
- Summer trip to CO to see our son, my sister, and my folks...after canx'ing this year's flyfishing trip
- Summer, pick up English Setter pup from breeder/trainer
- Fall cow elk hunt in NM...after canx'ing last year's muzzleloader hunt...followed by lots of quail/woodcock hunts with the new pup

No specific plan yet, until recovering from pretty big surgery! After that all bets are off.

Looking like the first day of 2021 is going to be ice and snow all day. I don't care that much as long as the power doesn't go off. I am happy to set at home and watch it snow as long as I can stay warm.

1Year retired Got a call from my last employer,
Hello?
Hi,
Do you remember who did that big contract job, that replaced the sign on the highway?
SURE give me a couple of minutes.. ( happens about once a month)
Just when I thought I was out they pull me back in.
Really no big deal but where were they when I de-briefed all the contacts
But ONWARD...
Joe, this is for YOU
Stopped by the GS in Palmetto, guess who wants me to go back to work for him ?
" Just do a couple of west coast shows, seems the young kids have a tough time getting all the receipts in the cookie jar .
I'll see, but probably not until I get vaccinated.

My wife and I are planning to go out and play whenever the weather's nice. Hiking, biking, camping, or going on a horse ride.
Reconnected with my long lost Nephew (on Facebook) in 2020. He's grown up to be a fine young man. At 35 he's more than a coupla decades younger than me anyway and we've been talkin' 'bout going on a 50 mile bike ride on the C&O Canal Towpath. Hopefully, it works out.
'Til then, my wife and I'll keep going to the gym, lifting and doing cardio, so we'll be ready when the warm weather gets here.

I got a turntable that I can plug into the computers and record albums, then later turn them into CDs. Gives me a chance to listen to all my albums. I give it two years. I don't have that many albums, but I gotta get in tune before I play them. Happy New Year...

Any day one wakes up and can get out of bed under their steam is a good day.
I don't even know what planet I'm living on anymore.

My mission for 2021 is the same as previous years; to spread as much good will and kindness to as many folks as I can.
I ain't givin' up.
Remember that it takes less energy to smile than it does to slam your eyebrows down over your top lip.
