Were your uncles also natives of the St. Louis area?
I know the crowd I ran with were pretty proud consumers/supporters of the hometown AB products.
Busch beer was for when we just wanted to get plastered as cheaply as we could.
Budweiser for when we had a few more bucks to spare.
Michelob when we were flush and wanted to drink "the good stuff".
But that was just my experience in the late 1970's-early 1980's, and YMMV...

Don’t know if this one’s been before, the list is getting kind of long to review.

Based on your screen name I'm guessing you're a boomer - like me? If so, that would mean your uncles were probably members of "the Greatest Generation"?
So, I'm thinking maybe its a generational thing?

I was simply saying in my area cell towers are disguised as palm trees as opposed to a cactus as shown in the photo. Geesh.

This is similar to what my father-in-law did several months ago. He was cutting up some kind of extremely hot peppers to use for a meal when he went to us the bathroom. He didn't wash his hands first...he said he was doing some real hopping around afterward when the burning sensation set in. Now he uses rubber gloves when doing anything like that again.

Yeah, my first real job was packing orders for a company selling self-defense CS tear-gas canisters. A lot like the bear-spray/pepper spray canisters that we're all familiar with.
I made the mistake of NOT washing my hands BEFORE taking a leak ONCE. Trust me when I say that it was a mistake nobody would make twice.
If you think getting that stuff in your EYES is bad, try getting it on the more private parts of your anatomy.
