Vintage True Temper Rare 6'9" Temperglas Ferrule Classic 1000 63-075 1188 Made U.S.A. Does not have solid shaft.

That is a dolling bass fishing rod. Used around weed beds,Stumps , boat docks. Very popular in the late 80s. Should have Heavy Wt. near handle of shaft.

Default Showing my age

I still have the first fiberglass True Temper casting rod, to be sold in a sporting goods store in the City of Columbus, Ohio. Previous to that, all True Temper casting rods were made of square, plated, tapered, solid steel. I may still have one of those steel rods in my antique fishing, stuff.
