I'm watching it and enjoying it very much. I also consider myself a Patriot, since I willingly served in the military. I have to respect his convictions, whether I really agreed with them or not. One difference in his refusal to accept induction, from many other draftees who didn't serve, was he stayed and took his lumps (imprisonment, fines, and loss of his license to earn his living) for his refusal, rather than run off to Canada to escape prosecution. It was a turbulent time, I was just becoming of draft age, was registered and had a low number, when the draft was halted. I don't really know what I might have done then had I been drafted; like many other young people, I was against the conflict in SEA and felt it was a politically motivated war. I did not join until many years later (1987).
At any rate, his is a story of the times, and watching those old films of his matches is really great.
