With the ammo shortage I been forced to try different brands of ammo.I bought 44mag ammo for my Redhawk and 629 and 45 acp for my glock 21 and Smith M22.It shoots great! The 45acp seems a little hotter than the Winchester white box stuff that I can't find.

I've shot very little Magtech, but have purchased the bullets for reloading. Not a bad product IMO.

I've shot their .357 Sig, 9mm,38 special, 380 and 40 S&W. Have had zero problems. Good price usually.

If you have another kid, I'll gift an M14/M1A.

Way generous but I'd rather stick needles in my eyes.

C'mon Sip, free gun! Can't you smell the cosmoline?
Been shooting Magtech in the acp for quite a while. We get in bulk for training and it's pretty good.

Sir, good catch. MagTech and Independence are the main brands of "house ammo" at the indoor ranges around here. I've shot a lot of each in .45 ACP and .357/.38, and somewhat less in .45 Colt, .44 mag and special, and 9 mm.
All have been clean, accurate and reliable. Unlike some other less expensive brands, the magnums actually feel like magnums. The brass also is good for reloading, at least what I've done so far.
Hope this helps, and Semper Fi.

I've also been impressed with Magtech. The only factory ammo of their's that I've used has been the .38 Super and .32 long. Both shot very well.
My wife is using their 98gr JHP as the carry load in her Model 30. I also use their 98gr LRN bullet for reloading .32 Long ammo.
Accuracy with both the loaded ammo and my reloads using their bullets has been excellent.

I use their brass for loading revolver cartridges, and I buy their 9mm and .380 loaded ammo. Never had a problem in the 5 years I've been using it.
