For those insomniacs out there it's the longest eclipse in close to 600 years.
Starts at 02:00 eastern and is at its fullest around 04:00 eastern.
I believe there will be a tiny sliver of the moon visible at 0:400 when it starts to return from a red hue to a full moon.
I'll set an alarm to see it

Didn't know about the eclipse. I checked for full moon at griffin.org and out here in PST it occurs. at about 1am, so full eclipse should be then.

It hasn't rained in over a week here so naturally we're catching up with solid rain through most of the night. I'll get up and take a look anyway.
Regards,

When I lived down there in south Fl. it would last 20 min. then blow through.
Hope you get to see it

I'm in North Idaho. We have not had any snow since Global Warming chased out Global Cooling thirty years ago. Now we have Climate Change so I can go to the Laundromat.

If the dog's pee alarm goes off at 4:00am I might get a glimpse. It's all I can do to get safely down the stairs at 4 :)

I just went out and took the best picture I could get with my ipad. (Which is very bad).

It is an amazing sight. It was a bright, moon-lit night a few hours ago. Now it is nearly black-dark.

It was pretty impressive. I wish I had set up the telescope.

With the clouds and rain around I didn't think I would get to see the eclipse. But around 3:00 AM the show was just outside my window. And free!
