Default THREE YEARS NOW

It was 3 years ago today that I found Matilda. A tiny stray kitten, in the bad part of town by the tracks. She is a happy cat now, up to 10.4 lbs. A good mouser. Very sweet. A good person.

I always thought of myself as a dog guy. But my daughter wanted a cat 2 years ago to help her deal with the anxiety Covid was causing. I must say we've grown quite attached to Arthur. And when she returned to college after the shut downs ended, we truly missed him (he went with her!!) I think the dog missed him most of all. Although the cat totally dominated, he liked having his "buddy" around. He would just wander the house, I think looking for him!

Looks like she's living the good life now . We have one that we found and had her fixed and given her shots . She's an outside cat , the garage is her home . She's gotten to where when someone goes in the garage she goes to the fridge and starts meowing . She knows that's where her treats are and is letting you know she wants some .
