If it was only the cuff, no problem. The problem is there is an artificial shoulder on the side. They want to replace it at the same time. There is a very good chance that could end my career. Not ready to sit home.

Tore my left rotator 5 years ago, had surgery, and was doing well ...then I decided to rake pine cones and needles about 5 weeks into recovery. I tore it,again, then had a second surgery. Surgeon told me to rehab and let it heal, I won't be able to repair it a third time. Lesson learned, but still have occasional mild shoulder pain at times today. Good luck, and do what the doc's tell you !
