The other end of the conversation asked if I would take an out of state check. Hesitant, I was assured it would be good. I recognized the voice and the check when it arrived confirmed my suspensions. The person I sold the action to was Buddy Hackett.

Margaret Hamilton is still the defining face of a witch if you ever watched the Wizard of Oz. Probably what most actors want in life but not necessarily in that role.

While Mary Ure is a cutie, Ingrid was a favorite of mine. Even when she was a vampire, Ha.
So much like guns, to each his own....

Buddy was on Johnny Carson one night. Johnny made mention of the fact that Buddy and his wife had a lengthy marriage. Buddy replied that when he and his wife got married, he put a .38 on the dresser. She asked what that was for. He told her that if she ever got tired of him, "that's what it was for". Likewise, he said, if I ever get tired of you, "that's what it's for". He said his wife hasn't slept a wink in over 30 years.

Godzilla smoking. The first one obviously he has his head off, taking a smoke break. The second one he's staying in costume, and one of the stage hands is holding a cigarette up to a little hole in the costumes throat, so he can smoke.
Maaaannn, that nicotine is addictive.

As said previously, I thought George Lazenby’s performance in his single movie was very good, and second only to Connery. I put Daniel Craig at the bottom. Everyone else in the role was simply just OK, not memorable.

Rudi's post item #114
I was wondering about that group, so I did a little research.
Pat Boone is 88, Paul Anka is 82, Frankie Avalon is 83 and
Edd Burns at just 53 is still a kid. Bob Denver passed away
in 2005 at age 70. My interest is because I'm 88 now and the
people I knew have been passing away way too often.

Jimi got the choice, jail/Army. Ended up in the 101st. Didn't like his time in the service. But boy could he play! Sad, only 27 when he passed.

In 1969, during a business trip to California, I met up with my uncle John, who took me to his club for lunch, and I had the pleasure of meeting the only movie star I ever met.
He was taller than I expected, and most gracious to nobody me, a really nice guy, I thought.

Whenever I see Bull riding on TV, I am ALWAYS reminded of Slim and his Bronk Ride to fame!
As many times as I've seen this, I just now noticed she had high heals on in bed!

John Sturges, the director. Easily the greatest action film director ever. No one comes close these days.
