I just looked at some of the information of Season 1 of Joe Pickett. I wasn’t aware of the series until you mentioned it. Looks pretty good and I have Paramount + so I will watch it. Thanks for sharing.

Season 1 was free with Spectrum TV and now they want you to pay for it on Paramount+. Stream, stream, stream.

I am rewatching the final episode of season one just to catch back up on the plot.:) That’s the only bad thing about waiting so long to continue a story. It’s hard enough for me to keep up with Yellowstone, and it has continued yearly.

I finished Season 1 last night and I'll echo Targets Guy's sentiment in that I was disappointed in Season 1, as well. I think the casting was great and I enjoyed the characters (save for the two old dingbat ladies), but there was too much law enforcement corruption at so many levels in the story line to make it believable for me. Its a TV story, I know, but too far from reality to make it credible.

I'll watch Season 2 when it breaks and hope for more realism.

I thought the OP got the Steelers' QB's first name wrong. That's all these fan-boy talk radio hosts talk about. Heck, they had the Pirates going to the World Series the way they started; until they got back to their loser ways. Then it's back to the Steelers and the Superbowl just around the corner. Kenny Pickett and his little hands is starting a new dynasty!

Well I’ve been watching season #1 of Joe Pickett and finished episode #5 last night. The series seems to be slow moving and I can’t tell if any of the Law Enforcement or Game wardens are honest people except Joe, and I’m not too sure about him. I’ll continue to watch the remaining episodes and season #2 as well. Sure is pretty country.

Looking forward to season 2. I’ve enjoyed the books, currently on the wait list for the latest one from the library. I hope he still uses the S&W 66 in the second season :D

Ok, watched the first two episodes today. I frankly don’t remember if the character was as stupid in the early books as he is in the show but-damn! Lol

Watched episode 2 of season 2 today and was very disappointed. I'm a retired LEO and worked with several game wardens in northern California and all of them were super officer safety oriented, even more so than most street cops due to being out in the sticks and working alone without backup. It is painful to watch Pickett making so many officer safety blunders.
