Snubby: I am new around here and have been browsing through the forums for the last couple of weeks. Eventually, i'll make an introduction post. First and foremost I wanted to reply here:
My grandmother pass away two weeks ago, on April 11th, due to complications from lung cancer. She was always the caretaker of my grandfather throughout his multiple battles with cancer; always there for him and the family. Even in her last hour with us her last request was that she take with her the pain of my mothers ailments (my mother is going through some other serious medical challenges currently as well). I know it is hard, and being recently married to my high school sweetheart of 8+ years, I can only begin to imagine the emotions you must be processing.
While I am not very religious I like to think that I did not lose my grandmother but gained a new angel looking down over my shoulder in life. Quality over quantity. Remember the good times and don't forget to continue to live life like our loved ones would have told us to continue doing. Take care Snubby. If you username is any clue I'm sure I'll be seeing your name plenty on this forum.
