Default "Sniper: The White Raven"

Ukrainian movie; not great and a bit
cliche riddled but I found it interesting.

Some might appreciate the approach to
weaponry for a Ukrainian sniper. Ballistics
and calibers discussed.

The film was made around 2019 and reflects
the 2015 war with Russia. But I think it
also pertains to the current war.

Film was produced with the cooperation of
the Ukrainian army.

Aired on cable but also available for rental
through Amazon.

Any relation to White Feather?
Those sniper movies are pretty interesting. Like "Shooter", I think it was, where he shot the guy's arm off to save the girl. My BIL had that job in the Marines back in Nam. They would fly him & a couple other guys over from the US, then bring them back when the job was done. He was good at what he did, but he went through some therapy later on after discharge.
I'll have to try to catch that movie; sounds interesting. Thanks, Uncle Ed.
Most of you guys will know better than me, but it seems the spotter is just as important as the shooter. Pretty interesting, fer sher.

I enjoyed the movie and like how they talk a lot about their rifles and tactics during training.

"White Raven" stresses the importance of taking out
the spotter(s). It's a way of limiting or "blinding"
the sniper.
