Was it crowded on Sunday Rudy? Looks like March 2nd will warmer, temperature in the mid 40’s. Thank goodness, no snow for the bunch. Larry

Yep, the weather forecast for the 2nd has been improving drastically over the past week.
I'll be looking for a K/L square frame grip, wood, no checkering, cross screw mount (no bottom screw mount), standard configuration, open backstrap.

Once again I will miss the "meet". Having more surgery on my troublesome foot and Dr. says I have to stay off my feet as much as possible.

Wasn't hard for me to eat several "Big Boys" and a mess of fries in one sitting.
We had an outdoor market in our city and they always had a stack of watermelons sitting outside. One night a couple of us grabbed a few melons and went to the local Manners. We gave the melons to them and we were rewarded with some "Big Boys" and fries. The customers there got watermelon if they wanted some.
I didn't feel too guilty about taking the melons, as several of my siblings and my mom worked there.

Even though it's still 8 days away, I've started putting stuff in the vehicle. Bins of brass are heavy.

New Forum member here. This Bunch sounds pretty cool. Added to my calendar and hope to make it.
Are there any age restrictions, 21 & over?
Thanks for the heads up Larry...

No age restrictions. It’s 5.00 to get in and bring a plate of something to eat for 10-15 people. A lot of forum people attend, Larry

Also gotta add no medallion. They're gonna be modified/sanded to remove all sharp wood edges and do a lot of 'rounding'. 'Football cutout' also not necessary. So expensive grips are out as they would lose their value immediately. Gonna take them from what's in the package pic to on gun pic.

Doors open at 0900...what time do they close? I am hoping it's an all day event, as I can't make it until the afternoon.

Ending time has varied over the past four. Not an all day event. The last 2 ended about noon and the 2 previous to that ended 1-1:30.

Sorry for the short notice gang. Something unavoidable has come up and I will not be able to attend. I wish you all the best for a great meeting and good turn out. Hopefully I will make the next one, my apologies.
Best regards, Bob.

Hi Bunchers….Regrettably, I also am unable to attend on short notice as I was lucky enough to pick up both Covid and Strep this week while out on business travel. Hope to start feeling better later this week after meds kick in but no chance I’ll risk passing this crud to the bunch. Dad and I will look forward to the Fall meeting. Have a great time! Eric

Well, all packed in the truck. Just have to add coffee in the morning and leave. Not gonna get doughnuts this time, will go to Chet’s and get some chicken late morning. Need a side dish if someone wants to stop and get macaroni salad or potato salad. Seems we have a lot of pastries. Roger, are you bringing your venison dish?? Larry

Good turn out, getting more people back from pre virus times. Rough guess there was about 35 people attending. Took in if I remember correctly 217.00, will write checks this weekend.
Too many last minute cancellations, still a lot of cold/flu bugs going around. Food was good, nice selection. Will see when the next bunch will be, see you then. Larry

Just a nice Day! Food was good. Roger, your venison sloppy joe was excellent as always! But the Company was better! Nice to see everybody again. Looking forward to the Fall bunch. Hope to see some at the Cleveland OGCA show in June at the IX Center.

Went to Medina today Sunday. The drive from Euclid to Cleveland was very blustery along the lake, the I90 bridge over the flats was very strong crosswinds. On I71 south in the area of the turnpike interchange, a local squall was dumping a lot of snow, many spinouts onto the berms.
Well anyway the show. surprised at the decent sized crowd in spite of the weather. Talked to DanT, he said Medina yesterday was packed, also last week's Warren was crowded too. A 586 and a 686 drew my attention, the 686 was highly polished and didn't look right and the 586 was a Nickle, didn't pursue the prices on either. The drive home was okay with some high winds in a few areas.
Next weekend Akron.

Went to Akron today, Saturday. Was there from 11:30 to 1, decent crowd. Said hi to DanT and did other socializing. Picked up period correct S&W silver washered grips for the 4 1982-1985 revolvers I had on display at the 'bunch'.

Stopped in at FFF Bagley Rd early yesterday afternoon.
Primers available but still at their 'pricey' level, bags of brass from Winchester and Starline seems to be increasing in availability, powders have gotten costly. Ammo for handgun, rifle, and 22lr well stocked.
Only bought 511 pants, unusual to find/see in size 31/34. The velco sealable pockets are great for rollercoaster riding.
