Maglite Sales and Discounts (currently)
Hey All,
I was shopping tonight for a new flashlight for on the job and general use.
I decided on the Maglite Tac 2 with Bezel. Normally about $100, on sale for $70, and found a 40% discount code bringing it down to $42 plus tax and shipping.
I like Maglite. Also, made in the good old USA.
MAG-TAC 2 TM BLACK CROWN BEZEL
– Maglite
Just thought if anyone was interested in a new light, the code I used was: WINTER40
I also figure a good light is good for safety at night, especially in these crazy times. Blinding a threat is helpful...
Have a great night all and stay safe!

Maglite..."Who they can't blind they can bludgeon!"
I updated my Maglite I've had for decades with an LED bulb...makes a huge difference!

I have also updated my two old Maglites with LEDs. Cheap on eBay, makes a huge improvement. No reason to buy any more Maglites. Would far rather use regular dry cell batteries than 123s.

I have 2 large D cells flashlights , gifts from my son. One for the house, one for my truck. Used to have Mag Lites but no more, too easy to wacky.

That's why I love the old D Cell styles. Makes a handy club should the need arise...

Yep, and no LEO will bust you for a "concealed flashlight".

The Captain once told me I couldn't carry my 6D cell lights inside the prison anymore. I finally retired from there. My daily carry now is a 3C
Everything but a couple MiniMags and one MagCharger have been upgraded to LED.
Oh, besides the longer battery life you don't have to change the "bulb" in an LED after use as a substitute baton.

The upside of D-cell batteries in a Maglite is their additional mass if you need to use it as a bludgeon. The three-cell version is the all-around best choice. I have a 2-cell and a 3-cell, with LEDs.
I have a couple of Zoom LED flashlights also. They use 3-AAA cells but put out considerable light. Very handy size and very cheap, like $5 or less each on eBay. Even cheaper if you buy a five-pack. I use those more than I use my Maglites as they are pocketable. But not much good as weapons. I always put a Zoom in my pants pocket if I go out after dark.

The 40% code doesn’t seem to work anymore, but I searched for other discount codes and found “Moore30” works for 30% off. I bought one as my son abducted one of my flashlights. Cost is $65 to my door (including sales tax and shipping). Pretty good deal on a quality flashlight.
Hope this helps…
