Nice turnout today, no lines but aisles were full. Getting to be maybe Khaled/Shoot Straight in the big room with 1 or 2 other FFL's and the other maybe 8 in the small room. Lots of modern revolvers to be had: S&W 520 in wood box $2,999, X frame .460 and .500 mags $1600, L frames $1100 and J frames of all flavors $8-900. I did see a very nice used Python 4.25" for $1200, they are starting to appear on the used market. A very nice, clean 3" 36-? with old style thumbpiece (not flatlatch) was $525. Khaled had a few 4046 "tactical" models for $299, even with tax and $5 BGC you are out around $325. He had M&P 40's for 269 and they were in great shape.
I love the Henry 9mm carbine, slick lines and nice wood. Much nicer than the Ruger but almost 2X the price. Guns were moving, if'n the BGC wait was quick I think Doc would have snapped up the SS Walther .22 for $279.
For $15 admit and clusters of folks 8 deep around actual "gun tables" it ain't what it was but seeing/handling a couple thousand guns in half a day is a hoot. Joe
