Default Orlando ST Patty Gunshow Report

Nice turnout today, no lines but aisles were full. Getting to be maybe Khaled/Shoot Straight in the big room with 1 or 2 other FFL's and the other maybe 8 in the small room. Lots of modern revolvers to be had: S&W 520 in wood box $2,999, X frame .460 and .500 mags $1600, L frames $1100 and J frames of all flavors $8-900. I did see a very nice used Python 4.25" for $1200, they are starting to appear on the used market. A very nice, clean 3" 36-? with old style thumbpiece (not flatlatch) was $525. Khaled had a few 4046 "tactical" models for $299, even with tax and $5 BGC you are out around $325. He had M&P 40's for 269 and they were in great shape.

I love the Henry 9mm carbine, slick lines and nice wood. Much nicer than the Ruger but almost 2X the price. Guns were moving, if'n the BGC wait was quick I think Doc would have snapped up the SS Walther .22 for $279.

For $15 admit and clusters of folks 8 deep around actual "gun tables" it ain't what it was but seeing/handling a couple thousand guns in half a day is a hoot. Joe

Thanks for the report. Orlando is a two hour drive for me. The Indian River County Gun Show is a ten minute drive for me. Think I will be staying here. Besides never really spend any money there. Deals to be had if you keep your eyes and ears open locally.

Sounds good. Our last local show was the smallest I've seen. Prices were nuts. I mean $675 for an old Enfieild re-chamored to .308? The few old Smiths that were there were high too.
