#2 looks more like the TVs of the '60s. My parents TV stand from the '50s currently is my printer stand.

#2: In 1984, When we moved into the farmhouse, I Celebrated with a Brand-New Curtis Mathis consul TV! My Best friend had been booted by his soon to be Ex-wife, so he bought a Curtis Mathis 12-volt B&W that worked in his van.

Number 2 (TV) looks rather small compared to the expensive monster my grandmother owned. It was a nicely built 3 door model that had a BW TV, radio and record player. It was from some time in the 50s and when it worked it worked good for being so many things all hooked together.
It was getting too expensive to keep the TV part working ( late 1960s) so a couple friends and I took it out of the house for her. It became with a bit of gutting and other work a rather nice hidden bar!

First new tv my wife and I bought in 83 was a 32” Sony, which was the biggest screen available at the time. Only time I ever bought the service contract because I knew if it needed service, I couldn’t move it.

Number 3 for me today. I never had a number 2 but an acquaintance just paid movers pretty good money to get his out of his home. He couldn’t move it himself and finally had to say enough is enough and spend the money.
